There is much in the news lately regarding the thefts from allotments. This time though it is not the theft of our tools but the theft of produce!  With the credit crunch upon us and the price of food on the increase it seems that people are helping themselves to our produce.

It seems the situation is so bad that in some areas night time patrols of allotment sites have been brought in to try and tackle this problem.
